Brighton Bloggers / B4L Social - 7 comments
The many Brighton/Hove/Portslade bloggers out there (I can think of 7 leftish political ones off the top of my head) might be interested in the upcoming Brighton Bloggers meetup on Tuesday 23rd. I attended my first in Summer 2004 (under a different moniker) and will be going to this one, hopefully with a few guests.
On that note, there will be a 5th Bloggers4Labour social in London in January. I'm going to start out by proposing that on Thursday, January 25th we - Labour bloggers, and as many of us as possible - meet up at one of the following pubs:
- The Salisbury (a former after-work favourite), WC2N 4AP
- The Coal Hole, WC2R 0DW
- The Chandos, WC2N 4ER
- Or, moving a little closer to the equator, the Lord Moon Of The Mall (venue of our 2nd get-together), SW1A 2DY

Are there any plans to have a Scottish social?
We have the elections this year so anyone wanting to come up and help would be welcome!
I'd like to see more get-togethers across the country, and I'd also like to see more people involved in setting them up, just because depending on me just slows activity, and restricts them to Southern England. I can help organise other events, post about them, and provide a space for people to discuss them, but I can't necessarily attend them, that's all.
So, would you like to be involved? It's pretty easy: essentially it's just the same as getting any group of people together in a pub/club, and it can be as formal or (generally) informal as you like.
Oh no... clash with branch meeting!
The Lord Moon was good (cheap and has coffee-beer).
Will defo try to make this 5th B4L (i have missed the last few). Got to admit London mid-week can be a problem for me at the moment. Should defo be at the brightonbloggers thing as well.
5th? I make it 4 B4L's!
Anyways Andrew, my vote goes to The Coal Hole, preferably the part that's on the left ;)
Well, there have been four: Brighton, Westminster, City of L, Manchester, making the next one the 5th!
Can people say what days they can't do, so that if I move a day I can get an idea if more/less people can come?
Ah forgot Brighton, which sows how old B4L is, which in turn shows how time flies
