This is a corker (swear word bleeped-out):
I was searching for a suitable topic on your dull as ditch water blog to post a commnent [sic], but I can't find one that is relevant to anything in the real world. So here goes: just f*ck off and die.The logs assure me that he came

As a member of the Labour Party for quite some time, I was wondering whether or not Mrs. Blair has now refunded the money wasted on her hairdos to the Party coffers yet? Would this cash have been paid back if not highlighted? I think maybe not. It makes my blood boil that come election time, I get loads of begging phone calls asking for pledges of my hard-earned and see it blown in such a frivolous fashion. I only work part-time and am so poor I actually cut my own hair for free! can you imagine? Did I contribute to Mr. Prescott's indescrtions as well? Dear oh dear, Labour. Please get a grip and remember you are serving us mere mortals, you know, the membership and the Country! I am sure getting a nasty Tory whiff about all of this. Sorry to be anonymous, but I have not the first idea what a Blog is and don't think I want one.
is this the best you can do? silence on the release of criminals, nothing on nurses facing the sack...
we are not responsible for what people say on other websites and it wasn't any of our team.
your remarks he's a nasty, pathetic little boy, who likes to wave his willy about (what there is of it) in online discussions, because it makes him feel like a big man. is just infantile.
Nothing on two-shags Prescott either.
I notice that Ming Campbell refused to comment on the randy DPM today in Winterton. But it doesn't look rosy for the fat man.
Wow, coming in for it, aren't you Andy? Jesus.
How's this? Clarke should go (ministerial responsibility and all that), we should look at the facts of the nursing redundancies not just the rhetoric (can anyone tell me how many of these posts were temporary, or how many are being found jobs in other NHS positions?) and unless John Prescott's extra marital activities have interfered with his ministerial work, it's none of our goddamn business.
As for Andrew's rejoinder to his anonymous commenter - so 'f*ck off and die' isn't infantile? Seems to me that he's perfectly entitled to get down in the gutter and play dirty.
Plus chet proves the whole point of the post - if political debate these days means calling Prescott "the randy DPM", "two-shags" and "the fat man", then leave me out of it.
Oh, I forgot - "I'm sure getting a Tory whiff about all of this"? Yeah, because Cherie Blair getting her hair cut with party funds (yes, as wrong as that is) really compares to MPs perjuring themselves, or people losing their homes in the *real* Black Wednesday, doesn't it? Ye of little faith ...
Can I suggest that in future you simply refuse to lower yourself to the standards of the insulting commentator?
I would have preferred to have seen a simple prize awarded, in irony of course, to the person in question, along with the comment itself and his/her details.
Hhhm. well it aint me. check my IP if you so so wish...
Rob, he is perfectly entitled to answer how he pleases, but responding in an infantile way does weaken his arguement that the commenter is lowering the tone of political debate.
we get comments, emails etc like this every day. we ignore them and stick to the real important issues instead.
Can you clarify, do you mean from Blairwatch, or via their links to bloggers4labour on the site?
Firstly, I'm not accusing anyone in particular, or as part of a group. I'm really not that bothered.
Quarsan, you have no right to tell me what I may, or may not, publish on my own blog, even if I do open it up as a service for others, and you have no right to interpret anything from my silence on any particular issue. The public doesn't own me. Go elsewhere (or come back later) if you don't find the coverage you want here.
Final point is that what the commenter displayed was a contemptuous disregard for the feelings and sensibilities of the human beings reading his contribution. If my retort was merely infantile (in fact I think it was a fair and apt comment), that can hardly be considered to be equivalent, nor does it weaken my charge against him.
Anyway, that's all I'm going to say.
Can you clarify, do you mean from Blairwatch, or via their links to bloggers4labour on the site?
OK, one last comment: the referrer was a recent Blairwatch post, that's all. Doesn't prove a thing.
When have I told you what to write on your blog? I do find it interesting that you have nothing to say on many issues.
If you're not that bothered, why did you blog it?
When have I told you what to write on your blog? "is this the best you can do? silence on the release of criminals, nothing on nurses facing the sack..."
A blogger's silence proves nothing - end of story. People can go elsewhere, or call back later, if they're not being entertained sufficiently.
