We'd be spelt incorrectly if we were Australian, though we'd be feeling a bit smug about the match (rather than a bit foolish after those two posts).

Assuming all the Tests run to their full 5 days, that's 25 days of Test cricket, and this was day 1. Not good news for non-fans...

I'm amazed I knew we were playing Australia. Someone tried to explain to me the whole Test series thing once and cricket in general, but I tuned out, and when next I started listening they were talking about washing-up liquid. I will always wonder how they got from one subject to the other, and will never know.
